The Opportunity

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key part in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. The role is fast‑paced, hands‑on, and ideal for someone who thrives in a proactive sales environment.

This role sits within our Estate Agency Services division of Landmark, where our team are dedicated to serving thousands of estate and letting agency clients. Our goal is to enable our clients to process property transactions with greater certainty and less risk by using our services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and nurturing your own leads through proactive outreach and relationship‑building.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to close.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Promoting our compliance and onboarding solutions to help estate agents modernise processes, improve efficiency, and reduce risk.
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through to closing deals.
  • Engaging both new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and increased product adoption.
  • Working with the Customer Success team, build long-term relationships that support repeat usage, cross-sell opportunities and platform adoption.
  • Building strong, consultative relationships with clients, partners, and referrers to strengthen market reach.
  • Representing our brand externally at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Contributing to broader platform growth, with responsibilities expanding as we move toward a unified single‑system product offering.

The role is remote, but with a requirement to be able to attend either of our Reading or Caton offices occasionally.

About You

You will be a proactive, confident sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of your own success. You will be motivated and comfortable building relationships that lead to long‑term value.

You will also have/be:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or client relationship roles.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills, with a consultative and professional approach.
  • Confidence in managing the full sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritising effectively and staying organised.
  • A proactive, self‑starter mindset, with the drive to source and nurture your own leads.
  • Knowledge of the property market (desirable but not essential).
