What if your next job could be the start of a career that changes your future?

A career where your personality matters, and your ambition is encouraged. Where you learn from experienced professionals, and work with some of the world's leading technology companies like Microsoft, Crowdstrike, and Fortinet. The opportunity to earn significant rewards is available and will only increase over time.

Welcome to the Aspire Sales Academy.

We're looking for ambitious, curious and motivated people who want to build a successful career in technology sales.

You don't need to be a technology expert or need years of sales experience. What you do need is the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the determination to make something of yourself.

We'll help you develop the rest.

What we're looking for

We believe successful salespeople come from all kinds of backgrounds. You might be leaving school, completing an apprenticeship or graduating from university. You might work in hospitality, retail or customer service and know that you're capable of more.

If this is you, these are some of the values we are looking for in our candidates.

  • Ambition — you want to achieve something and are prepared to work hard for it.
  • Sincere — You're honest, genuine and believe in doing the right thing, building trust with colleagues and customers.
  • Passionate — You bring enthusiasm and energy to what you do, take pride in your work and want to make a difference.
  • Innovative — You're curious, open to new ideas and willing to challenge yourself, learn from mistakes and find better ways of doing things.
  • Reliable — You take responsibility, follow through on commitments and can be counted on by your colleagues and customers.
  • Expert — You have a genuine desire to learn, develop your knowledge and become someone customers can trust for advice.

Great Communicator: Outstanding verbal and written skills with a knack for relationship-building.

Resilient & Tenacious: You’re comfortable with high‑volume outreach and approach rejection with grit, knowing it’s a natural part of the sales journey and a stepping stone to success.

Tech & Tool Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a basic understanding of IT services is a plus.

What you'll be doing

  • Outreach & Prospecting — Research and engage prospective customers that align with Aspire's Ideal Customer Profile, using telephone, email and LinkedIn to build relationships, understand business challenges and generate new opportunities.
  • Sales Support & Collaboration — Work alongside experienced Business Development Managers and technical specialists to support customer meetings, develop proposals, prepare quotations and progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Market & Customer Intelligence — Research target organisations, identify key decision-makers and uncover opportunities arising from business growth, technology investment, cyber security challenges and changing customer requirements.
  • Technology & Industry Knowledge — Develop your understanding of Aspire's services, including Managed IT, Cyber Security, Cloud, Networking and Unified Communications, while gaining exposure to leading technology partners such as Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Fortinet and RingCentral.
  • Sales Academy Development — Participate in structured training, coaching and practical learning opportunities, building the confidence, commercial awareness and skills needed to progress towards a Business Development Manager role.

What is the Aspire Sales Academy?

The Academy is a structured learning and development programme designed to take people with potential and help them become confident, knowledgeable and successful technology sales professionals.

You'll combine formal training with practical experience, coaching and exposure to real customer opportunities.

You'll learn how to:

  • Build confidence and communicate with people at every level of a business.
  • Understand how organisations operate and the challenges they face.
  • Discover the world of cyber security, AI, cloud and enterprise technology.
  • Identify business opportunities and build meaningful customer relationships.
  • Develop commercial awareness, negotiation and professional sales skills.
  • Work alongside experienced Account Directors and technical specialists.
  • Use modern sales tools, including Microsoft 365 and AI, to work smarter.
  • Progress towards managing your own customers and sales opportunities.

You won't be expected to know everything on day one, and you will get access to all members of the sales leadership team and the senior members of the Aspire leadership team to support you in your development.
