Business Development Director, Real World Technology and Data – EMEA Real-World Solutions (RWS) Data and Technology

Work within the EMEA sales organization to drive and optimize sales performance across the RWS data and technology portfolio. IQVIA technologies in Real World drive raw data to insight, within the portfolio across several offerings including, Privacy Analytics, Patient Data Platforms, Patient data licensing (EMR & Claims), IQVIA NLP and OMOP ODHSI

 
Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual annual sales target based on selling to Pharmaceutical clients across the offering suite to attain TCV quotas as assigned.
  • Deploy extensive external and internal networking to develop contacts for regular face to face meetings and engagement with your defined portfolio of clients to drive your opportunity pipeline e.g. generating leads
  • Lead key strategic and large opportunities that are critical to achieving global plan and financial goals on a quarterly basis
  • Work with the wider Real World Late Phase team and the RWT sales specialists to co-ordinate your approach with customers to drive sales, leveraging support where required
  • Work with the wider Real World Late Phase and account teams to identify and support opportunities to cross sell IQVIA offerings
  • Support the build out of account plans, and develop / evolve client specific account strategies based on current EU client RW ecosystems and maturity
  • Partner with Global Account Directors and Real-World Account Directors to engage C-suite and key influencers and budget holders within client base
  • Assess any additional client potential within white space analysis to directly drive revenue & growth
  • Support offerings teams with customer feedback to provide input to develop and adapt current solutions, to create new & improved client centric offerings

Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in with substantial experience in healthcare industry including: -
  • Proven track record of selling directly to Pharmaceutical/Healthcare clients, ideally within the Real-World area
  • Extensive knowledge of Real-world tech offerings, customer account management and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs both internally and at customer organizations
  • Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, a true team player
  • Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts.
  • Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
