About Euromonitor

Euromonitor International leads the world in data analytics and research into markets, industries, economies and consumers. We provide truly global insight and data on thousands of products and services; we are the first destination for organisations seeking growth. With our guidance, our clients can make bold, strategic decisions with confidence.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a solution-oriented business development account manager to work with our professional and financial services clients (consulting firms, investment banks, private equity, agencies, etc.). You will represent Euromonitor in managing and expanding relationships with our existing client base across Western Europe, building credibility and promoting confidence in our products and services.

Working from a named list of existing clients, your goal is to grow the value of our partnerships by embedding our data and analysis with both new and current users.

The focus of the role is to renew and grow existing contracts within your assigned accounts—aiming to increase multi-year agreements and drive revenue growth across Euromonitor’s service offerings.

You’ll do this by articulating the value of Euromonitor’s platforms and custom capabilities, identifying relevant client needs, and aligning those needs with our database Passport and Custom solutions.

Success is achieved through;
  • Renewing existing contracts across a defined list of ABC (agencies, banks, and consultancies) clients, targeting increased multi-year agreements
  • Securing year-on-year revenue growth in line with targets, working across multiple areas of the company
  • Driving global account strategies and collaborating with peers in other regions to create large scale global upsell opportunities
  • Maintaining a minimum of 95% renewal retention
  • Supporting and growing revenues from a set number of accounts where renewals originate outside our regions, but where local engagement is crucial for retention and upselling
Responsibilities;
  • Understand client organisation, strategy, and priorities, to uncover new target groups and identify upsell opportunities
  • Secure contract renewals and grow revenue within each assigned account
  • Conduct proactive, relevant client outreach to engage new and existing contacts with Euromonitor content with the goal of identifying and developing new leads
  • Onboard new users either face-to-face or via online demos
  • Collaborate with Senior Specialist Products team to leverage internal expertise and maximise value for clients
  • Work with Marketing team to ensure campaigns are tailored and targeted
  • Provide expert research support to all clients, through detailed understanding of Euromonitor’s product portfolio and research methodology.
  • Implement high level engagements across accounts, partnering with the Client Service team to elevate our Research Expertise and enhance client retention
  • Build strong relationships and deepen networks within client organisations with consistent and proactive engagement with end users and decision makers
