A Brief Overview
Reporting to Head of Data Operations and Processing Optimisation EMEA the Data Product Delivery Lead EMEA drives the delivery and adoption of high-quality process automations and data products within the Enterprise Data Platform. This role ensures alignment with business strategy, collaborating across middle-office functions in EMEA, to enable the Business Data Engineering team to deliver scalable, automated, and fit-for-purpose data solutions. It serves as a bridge between business objectives and technical delivery, with clear accountability for the full lifecycle of data products—from requirements gathering to deployment and, most critically, adoption – reducing delivery risks and improving time-to-value.
What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data products from requirements to deployment and adoption, in close partnership with the Business Data Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Engineers and stakeholders to define priorities and product delivery roadmaps.
  • Proactively contribute to the development and maintenance of automations and data pipelines, adapting to evolving business priorities.
  • Ensure data products meet quality, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Champion automation and scalability in data product design and delivery.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Valuations, and other middle office functions for integrated solutions.
  • Track and report on delivery progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Support migration and enablement of data products onto the Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Foster continuous improvement and innovation in delivery processes.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the EMEA data community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a relevant field or equivalent experience. required
  • 7+ Years experience in data product delivery, project management and/or business analysis required
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (preferably Snowflake). required
  • Experience with health and life (re)insurance administration systems required
  • Experience within a financial services or insurance/reinsurance operations context required
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multinational teams required
  • Strong understanding of ETL tools, such as Alteryx, dbt. required
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. required
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance. required
  • Proven track record in automation and scalable process design. required
  • Continuous improvement mindset. required
