About the Role

As ICE is transforming from a successful service company to a technology company, we are looking for a highly motivated data analyst to be part of the Data and Analytics team within the Product Operations department.

With ICE having successfully launched a new Copyright platform, the Data and Analytics team is at the forefront of providing valuable and actionable insights for our customers and internal stakeholders. As a member of the team you will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards and reports, as well as providing automated reporting solutions and on demand ad-hoc analysis on a daily basis. You will learn about the ICE business and the complexities of copyright data management and work across a range of operational and technical areas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Data extraction based on customer and internal requests
  • Apply best practices to analytics code (ex: version control, testing, continuous integration)
  • Developing and improving documentation on ICE’s data models
  • Data analysis to support operational & strategic decision-making
  • Dashboard development to support customer & internal reporting
  • Train business users on how to use data visualisation tools and other solutions
  • Working with Engineering to develop automated data pipelines for recurring requests

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Work experience or domain knowledge regarding music copyright / online royalty admin services.
  • An understanding of ICE’s databases and their functions.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modelling concepts and techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Github.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data scenarios and provide effective solutions.
  • Experience with the creation of reporting and its corresponding tools, e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, and Quicksight.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) and it's ecosystem is a plus.
