Linklaters is a global law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

Business Continuity Manager – The role:

Are you ready to lead business continuity at a global scale? Join Linklaters as our Business Continuity Manager and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our operations across continents.

  • Lead a global team: including Senior Business Continuity Advisor, Business Continuity Advisor, and IT Disaster Recovery Manager.
  • Set the strategy: Shape and deliver the global business continuity vision and annual objectives.
  • Drive resilience: Develop and implement our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in line with ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines, and DRI standards.
  • Collaborate widely: Work with Business Managers, IT, Legal & Risk, HR, and Global Operations to embed continuity planning across the firm.
  • Test and improve: Lead business continuity exercises, scenario planning, and post-exercise reviews.
  • Support senior leaders: Guide stakeholders through incidents and disruptions, ensuring critical operations are protected.
  • Global impact: Manage a geographically diverse team and oversee third-party continuity risk.
  • Continuous improvement: Maintain ISO 22301 certification and ensure audit-ready documentation.

This is a highly visible, senior role with real scope to make your mark—your team, your strategy, your impact.

Business Continuity Manager – What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a dynamic leader who thrives in a partnership environment and brings a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and emotional intelligence.

  • Strong grasp of BCI and DRI frameworks.
  • Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of guiding senior leaders through critical incidents.
  • Internationally recognized business continuity qualification (e.g., FBCI).
  • Ability to influence at senior levels and flex your style to suit the situation.
  • High EQ—able to see nuance, build relationships, and work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel and manage geographically diverse teams.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for excellence.
