An  experienced Business Change Manager who can understand the client’s business change journey and, using a structured and analytical approach, build and implement a multi-faceted Change Management Plan that will drive the positive outcomes around organisation, roles, process, collaboration, and benefit realisation.

Essential skills and Experience

  • Proven experience of change around people, process, and technology
  • Assured application of Business Change management theories e.g., ADKAR
  • Plan and drive Partner Engagement, Leadership Alignment, Business Impact Analysis, Learning/Training, Communications, Business Readiness, Deployment, and Adoption Measurement.
  • Experience of leading ground-breaking projects for customers.
  • Experience of working in multi-functional and complex teams.
  • Relevant professional consulting or advisory experience.
  • Experience leading teams and/or influencing others.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be experienced in using Business Change methods such as Business Diamond Model, Benefits Realisation, or others as appropriate
  • Leading the production of Business Cases to support investment in projects and identifying the expected ROI    
  • Experienced in working with Business Processes and re-engineering. Effective use of Process Analysis tools such as Visio, or similar, to produce Process Diagrams, documenting actors, swim lanes, and decision points.
  • Expertise in engaging with the business as a senior level to be a trusted partner in managing their Business Change activities
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to develop further skills and to be hands on
  • Project Management skills – managing deliverables and timelines.
  • Project reporting
  • Comfortable dealing with senior clients, both remotely and face-to-face
  • Experienced in both Waterfall and Agile project methods

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of Business Change tools and methods, such as Business Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Management, and Change Network Development
  • Experience of ERP Solutions and Cloud based Business Applications
  • Experience of leading significant Business Change workstreams

Job functions

  • Assess the impact of a Business Change. Identify high impact areas and subsequently build an appropriate Change Strategy to minimise the impact and improve long-term adoption.
  • Ability to articulate a compelling case for change, and coach Change Sponsors on messaging, influence, and behaviour modelling for their teams
  • Design and delivery of change initiatives such as training, communication, and Change Network enablement
  • Effective use of change tools, such as Change Impact Assessments, to guide the prioritisation of change interventions.
  • Setting up and developing a Change Network to ‘champion’ the change with the client, ensuring adoption remains high in the short and long-term
  • Support the closure of the project and ensure the client can transition to business-as-usual.
  • Ensure that change implementation risk is understood and mitigated to increase the likelihood of successful implementation at first attempt
  • Ensure that all changes are managed as planned within the timescales agreed with the change requester.
  • Escalate any changes which are damaging the quality of the service (escalations) 
  • Review, monitor and communicate the progress and outcome of changes to all relevant parties.
  • Understand the client’s business and the impact of changes on their environment
  • Have strong knowledge of customer’s contractual requirements
