How will you make an impact
Prepare and conduct audits of the risk-based audit plan as well as ad-hoc audits and related investigations, e.g. based on whistleblower signals, including detailed audit reports
Evaluating the effectiveness (design, implementation and operation) of internal controls (e.g. Entity and Process Level Controls) – also according to the SOX regulations
Creation of test documentation and meaningful test reports
Following up on findings and tracking the implementation of recommendations
Active participation in the further development of test and audit methods/programs
Perform in-depth risks analysis, identify deficiencies or potential for improvement and make appropriate recommendations
What makes you a great fit
Many years of proven internal or external audit experience
Internal audit or similar qualification and certifications like CIA, CRMA, CFE
Experience with testing of SOX controls
Knowledge of relevant internal control and risk management frameworks (e.g. COSO, ISO 31000) and relevant regulations and standards (e.g. SOX, AS2201, GDPR, IFRS)
Understanding of fundamental risk concepts
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting and evaluating complex data and processes
Willingness to participate in a language course to acquire job-related German skills and ability to utilize German language skills in daily work tasks
English knowledge (C1)
