Company Description

Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a  Business Analyst to be based in London, UK.

The core purpose of this role is to organize and structure internal and external data assets to support the implementation of AI tools and advanced analytics. This involves creating scalable data models, building semantic layers, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role bridges the gap between raw data and actionable insights, ensuring data is effectively modelled and prepared to drive advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

This role has a large part to play in both driving strategic business decisions in the long term and tracking performance short term. It has high exposure to multiple departments both locally and at our HQ in Austria, so developing excellent relationships with our internal stakeholders is key.

Job Description

Data Organisation and Structuring
Organise disparate data sources (internal and external) into coherent data models aligned to business needs.
Build and maintain semantic layers to simplify data access and enable self-service analytics for business users.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Translate business questions into data requirements and ensure data assets meet these needs.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams (i.e. IT, Data Science, etc.)
Work with business teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure consistency in metrics and reporting across the organization.

Data Analysis & Modelling
Analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources, both internal and external market data.
Use SQL and other programming tools (e.g., Python, R) to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
Design and document data pipelines, workflows, and transformations to ensure data consistency and usability.

Reporting & Data Visualisation
Leverage tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms to support data visualization and reporting needs.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and methods in AI, data analytics, and FMCG business processes.

Qualifications

Curiosity: Continuously eager to learn, improve systems, processes, and tools, while uncovering unexpected connections between data points that lead to valuable insights.
Programming: know at least one of Python, SQL, R with the ability and willingness to learn the other two. Snowflake or Databricks knowledge is a plus.

Data Literacy: Ability to prepare high-quality datasets that preserve the core meaning of the data, enabling quick understanding of its relevance and implications for the problem at hand.
Communication: a great communicator at all levels, capable of managing stakeholders’ expectations.
FMCG Knowledge: prior experience working at an FMCG company in a data or analytics focused role is a plus.
