Data Analyst, Customer Valuations

About the Role:

You will report to the Global Head of Growth Marketing Analytics. We are in the midst of creating a small team to rebuild and maintain valuation infrastructure at Remitly. Currently this team consists of a business lead and data scientist. The team is in need of an experienced analyst that can partner with data science in the model build, partner with product and tech in building the business-facing valuations tool, and partner across business partners to drive the adoption across Remitly. This role will be hybrid (2-3 days a week) based in our London office.

You Will:

• Using data and a/b testing to understand customer value across pricing, product, and marketing functions, influencing decision-making across these teams.
• Influence and maintain our customer valuations approach, by conducting analysis and providing actionable insights.
• Support teams to design well-thought-out a/b tests based on their business needs.
• Work with teams at Remitly to responsibly adopt the model into current use cases.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify additional uses of valuations capabilities to drive business value.
• Develop best practices for model use and ensure adherence across Remitly.
• Partner with Data Scientists to analyse model performance utilising SQL, Python, Tableau

You Have:

• 3+ years experience in business or data analytics experience.
• Demonstrated success in developing, deploying, and managing valuations models.
• Demonstrated ability working on cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists.
• The ability to engage with, share ideas with, and influence senior leadership.
• Experience leveraging SQL and visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI or Tableau), Python (nice to have)
• Prior financial services experience preferred.
