Join one of the UK’s largest electrical wholesalers as we reimagine our technology for the digital age. We’re modernising our legacy systems and building new platforms powered by AWS and AI — and we need creative minds to help us shape the future!

Life as an Business Analyst on our ERP Programme:

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant transformation programmes in our organisation's history.

As we modernise our core business systems through a large-scale ERP transformation, you'll work at the heart of the programme—partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners to understand how our business operates today and help design how it will operate tomorrow.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex business challenges and is motivated by delivering tangible outcomes rather than producing documentation for documentation's sake.

If you're commercially minded, naturally curious and confident engaging with stakeholders at every level, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll act as the bridge between the business and technology teams, ensuring our ERP solution delivers real business value across key operational functions.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand operational challenges, strategic priorities and future business requirements.
    • Run workshops, interviews and process discovery sessions to capture current and future state processes.
    • Analyse complex business processes across retail, wholesale, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, procurement, inventory and finance functions.
    • Translate business requirements into clear, prioritised user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Challenge existing ways of working, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve business processes.
    • Collaborate closely with Commercial Business Experts, Directors of Operations, Business Leadership, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Developers and third-party implementation partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
    • Support solution design, ensuring proposed ERP capabilities align with business objectives and operational needs.
    • Facilitate decision making by balancing business priorities, technical constraints and programme timelines.
    • Manage requirements through change, ensuring traceability from discovery through to implementation.
    • Support testing, business readiness, user acceptance testing (UAT) and successful business adoption.
    • Identify risks, assumptions, dependencies and impacts across workstreams, proactively escalating where appropriate.
    • Drive continuous improvement and champion best practice business analysis throughout the programme.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with exceptional people skills.

    You'll ideally have:

    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex ERP transformation programmes.
    • Experience working within retail, wholesale, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain or another high-volume product-based environment.
    • Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes including inventory, purchasing, warehousing, order management and fulfilment.
    • Demonstrable experience eliciting, documenting and managing business requirements using a range of business analysis techniques.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
    • Outstanding workshop facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with the ability to understand how technology enables operational performance.
    • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
    • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset that balances quality with pace.
    • Confidence working in ambiguous environments where priorities evolve as programmes progress.

Our Package:

  • Annual IT Bonus scheme
  • 25 Days of Annual Leave - (Excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • Champion Health – a comprehensive physical, mental & financial wellbeing platform, offering bespoke content on all aspects of wellbeing & life including recipes, workouts, blogs and loads of other content for you.
