Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements and ensuring successful delivery of platform enhancements and migrations within securities finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for platform upgrades and implementations.

  • Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

  • Support configuration of modules for inventory management, allocation engines, and lifecycle processing.

  • Collaborate on integration with trading and post-trade systems, as well as reporting frameworks.

  • Assist in testing, data validation, and migration activities.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on securities finance processes and compliance requirements.

Required Experience:

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of securities lending, fully paid lending programs, and client asset lending operations.

  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with platform configuration, static data handling, and connectivity protocols (e.g., SFTP, SWIFT).

  • Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of trade capture, collateral management, and downstream settlement processes.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Experience with automated reporting tools and exposure management.

  • Compliance Awareness: Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines for securities finance programs.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is a fixed term contract/permanent full-time position located in London. For this role a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s office or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients’ policies and expectations are and these vary. This role you will be required to be onsite 5 days a week due to client demand.
