Role overview   
 

This role sits within the Claims Analytics team, where we’re currently in the process of growing our Business Analyst capability specifically within this area.


Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in: 
 

  •    Working closely with various teams to translate business requirements and front end system steps into available data points within Snowflake for each individual claims process and the end to end customer journey

  • Creating detailed specifications for tables to be built to support solution, aligned to business need and platform recommendations

  • Creating requirements for additional data points to be made available to feed into different platforms to facilitate the understanding of process deviations for each individual claims process end to end

  • Working closely with CIO and Data Engineering/Analytics Engineering colleagues to ensure the build of these data feeds is completed in line with requirements

  • Ensuring that all curated data feeds are fully documented

  • Supporting the deliver of projects to agreed scope, quality and time objectives

  
 

Essential skills/experience: 

  •  Insurance background (if combined with claims experience then this is highly advantageous)

  • Extensive current experience of working as a Business Analyst

  • Proven background in requirements elicitation, analysis, process modelling, stakeholder management, solutions evaluation, facilitation and work shop, documentation with minimal supervision

  • 2nd interview competency interview combined with case study (Microsoft Teams)
