Your Role: Branded Content Digital Editor

As a Branded Content Digital Editor at Global, you will be a creative wordsmith who can switch seamlessly between writing punchy, engaging copy and managing complex, multi-faceted digital projects?

Are you passionate about crafting content that resonates with diverse audiences while leading high-impact campaigns from concept to completion?

We’re seeking a Digital Editor to join our Branded Content Team on a full-time basis. This is a unique role that blends creative content development with hands-on project management, perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Writing (30%): Crafting compelling commercial copy for a range of digital platforms, including online competition pages, quizzes, newsletters, and more. Your words will help elevate some of the biggest brands in media and entertainment, including Heart, Smooth Radio X, LBC, Capital, Capital XTRA, Capital Buzz, Classic FM, Radio X and Gold!
  • Project Management (70%): Driving the end-to-end delivery of branded content campaigns. You’ll manage timelines, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure that every piece of content meets brand objectives and is delivered on schedule. Your role will be critical in ensuring seamless execution across multiple projects at once.
  • Shape engaging copy for online audiences and understand the importance of a seamless user journey, identifying ways to improve this
  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Understand the evolving digital landscape and how new tools and technologies such as AI can help enhance productivity
  • Work with our commercial team to ensure the client brand shines through in the content we produce whilst the content remains true to the Global brand identity
  • Every project will be different, and every client and every Global brand brings an outstanding set of requirements, so we need someone with positivity, energy and the ability to manage multiple partners, all whilst delivering outstanding results.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Gained a great working knowledge of Global brands, from individual tones of voices to what each audience loves
  • Built strong & positive relationships with internal stakeholders, working closely with the wider Branded Content team, Editorial, Programming, Commercial Design and Partnerships teams
  • Delivered multiple projects, with your work sitting across multiple Global channels
  • Written engaging copy, built online pages and set content live on Global websites
  • Maintained consistent, timely and professional communication across the business
  • Understood and adopted internal processes, workflows and policies
  • Worked with a hugely passionate and supportive team

What You’ll Need

This role is perfect for someone who thrives while carrying out both creative and administrative tasks.

  • Project management experience
  • Ability to manage your own time and prioritise workloads
  • The ability to problem solve on the job and help others do the same
  • The ability to respond positively to the needs and expectations of others, to achieve the right solution for our brands and commercial partners
  • Creative writing experience
  • Superb attention-to-detail
  • Experience delivering and/or project managing digital content (e.g., working as part of an editorial, CRM or digital team; as a copywriter; or within a marketing, publisher or agency environment)
  • Experience of working in a hybrid role
  • Experience working with CMS
  • Experience monitoring campaign performance, i.e. reporting on page stats using platforms such as Google Analytics/GA4
  • The ability to develop imaginative copy and adapt your tone of voice / writing style depending on project
  • A great knowledge of and passion for all things digital (digital media/social media platforms and trends)
  • Relationship building skills
  • You'll be a team player
  • You’re passionate, punctual and self-motivated
  • A knowledge of radio / interest in music and news is advantageous but not essential
