LỰU ĐẠN launched in 2022, created by designers Hung La and Léa Dickely. Named after the Vietnamese phrase for “Dangerous Man,” LỰU ĐẠN is a collectively realized vision shaped by the lived experiences of Asian men, free from one-dimensional tropes and expectations. The LỰU ĐẠN man claims his heritage with pride, moving through the world in a way that feels defiant, provocative, and deeply grounded. The brand carves out new depth and unfiltered visibility for Asian masculinity - not as a stereotype, but as a fully dimensional force. He uses his voice to bridge the interiority of his world with a wider global community, and urges others to step into their own story with that same fearless clarity.
Job DescriptionThe Brand & Operations Project Manager, LU’U DAN, is accountable for the end-to-end execution of the brand’s operations, commercial performance, and strategic priorities across Direct-to-Consumer and Wholesale channels. Partnering closely with the Creative Director, this role ensures the delivery of seasonal collections on time, on budget, and in alignment with the brand’s creative vision, while maintaining strong operational and financial discipline. This role owns the execution of the brand’s operational roadmap, including product lifecycle management, logistics, inventory flow, studio operations, and cash flow management, while driving DTC and Wholesale performance through weekly sales analysis, go-to-market execution, and strategic planning. Working cross-functionally with Buying, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other SSENSE shared services, as well as a network of external partners, the candidate acts as a central point of coordination and accountability.
What You Will Do:
Operations:
Manage day-to-day operations for brand delivery across Direct-to-Consumer and Wholesale channels with ownership of operational cadences and performance outcomes.
Drive operational excellence across product lifecycle execution, including responsibility for the roadmap, calendar, milestones, Time & Action plans, and cross-functional accountability.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, fulfillment workflows, inventory flow, 3PL coordination, and operational performance across all distribution nodes.
Standardize and evolve operational processes, documentation, SOPs, and reporting mechanisms to support scaling and reduce friction.
Own cash flow and expense management for the brand, including budget tracking, expense controls, forecasting, and oversight of accounts payable to ensure timely invoice processing, payment accuracy, and financial discipline in partnership with Finance.
Sales & Marketing:
Lead the DTC business, setting channel goals, tracking performance, and driving initiatives that deliver traffic, conversion, retention, and revenue growth.
Own the Wholesale business strategy and execution, including showroom operations, target setting with sales agents, KPI tracking, performance measurement, and revenue growth.
Leadership:
- Cascade strategic priorities, timelines, decisions, and key updates to the team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistent understanding across all levels.
A minimum of 5 years in brand or project management, business commercial and operations, within a fashion, or consumer goods field.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy boxes (15kg).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Web and computer-savviness.
What Sets You Apart:
Strategic Execution & Agility: This is the "bridge" skill. You need the high-level vision to set goals and the "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude to get them done. It involves balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day operations in fast-paced environments, ensuring that big ideas actually turn into finished products.
Analytical & Data-Driven: It’s not just about looking at numbers; it’s about translation. You must be able to take complex performance data and turn it into a clear roadmap for revenue and margin growth.
Operational Leadership & Influence: This requirement focuses on people and processes. You are expected to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive accountability. Because you’ll often work in ambiguous environments, the ability to build scalable structures where none exist is a top priority.
High-Impact Prioritization: You need a strong internal drive to exceed targets while maintaining a ruthless focus on the tasks that deliver the highest ROI and strategic value.
