Brand Marketing Executive

Your Role: Brand Marketing Executive

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, driven, and fast-paced Brand Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for building and growing some of the UK’s most successful radio brands: Capital, Capital XTRA, Capital Dance, Capital Anthems, alongside supporting on the wider Global brands. In addition to your brand responsibilities, you’ll play a central role in supporting the team by managing the diary of the Managing Director and helping coordinate key marketing events.

 

As a Brand Marketing Executive at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Campaign Support and Lead (80%) Lead projects and support the Senior Marketing Manager across the Capital brands and other major Global brands.
  • PA & Team Assistant (20%) Manage the Managing Director’s diary and provide team assistant support, including organising monthly marketing meetings and other key events.
  • Brand Management: Assist with asset management and help execute brand activities such as partnerships and events. This includes briefing, concept development through to feedback and final delivery, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness throughout.
  • Campaign Management: Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across media and creative channels.
  • Brand Guardianship: Ensure consistency and alignment across all brand touchpoints.
  • Media Buying & Agency Management: Assist in campaign execution and coordinate with media agencies to optimise spend.
  • Talent Collaboration: Work confidently with presenters, artists, and their teams to deliver smooth, impactful campaigns.
  • Diary Management: Efficiently manage the Managing Director’s diary, using discretion and sound judgment to prioritise and reschedule where needed.
  • Meeting & Event Support: Organise and support internal/external meetings, including logistics, guest coordination, room bookings, AV setup, travel and accommodation.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general admin assistance to the Marketing Direction. This includes preparing documents, expense claims, briefing notes, legal approvals, and liaising with suppliers.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Gained an excellent understanding of past campaigns and become the go-to person for your assigned brands with your focus being on the No.1 hit music Capital, Capital XTRA, Capital Dance and Capital Anthems stations!
  • Create standout marketing that elevates the brand and captures the audience attention whilst fundamentally driving business results, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build a strong relationship with the team and Managing Director by ensuring seamless meeting and diary coordination.
  • Earned the trust of colleagues and key stakeholders by building strong relationships with stakeholders, PAs, and executives across the business.

 

What You'll Need

The ideal candidate you’ll be proactive, solution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment. Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end brand marketing campaigns.
  • As part of this role, you’ll be a brand and campaign support but also a PA & Team assistant therefore you will need excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • A sharp eye for detail, essential when working on high-profile brands.
  • The ability to turn insights into impactful action.
  • Creative flair and a track record of delivering audience-first, high-impact campaigns.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working with media agencies and managing paid ATL campaigns.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, resilient, adaptable, and always willing to learn.
