About the role:

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial marketeer to take on the newly created role of GB RTD Brand Manager. This role will lead some of our biggest RTD products from our biggest brands, Smirnoff, Gordons, Captain Morgan and Johnnie Walker - from insight to execution to support Diageo’s ambition to win in the high-growth, high-potential Ready-to-Drink (RTD) category.

Ready to Drink products offer a powerful growth engine for our brands and our business: attracting new consumers, capturing new occasions, and delivering incremental value. As one of Diageo’s global priority markets, GB requires a bold, marketing-led agenda—one that integrates insight, innovation, creativity, and commercial acumen.

Experience/Skills required

  • Proven marketing experience in high-velocity, brand-led categories (RTD, beer, soft drinks, or FMCG).
  • Proven executional experience in brand building, innovation, and commercial delivery.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and challenging the status quo
  • Proactively curious around the category, customers and brands to build relevant insights and plans
  • This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team to build the new growth engine within one of Diageo’s most iconic markets, and a defining leadership role for anyone passionate about marketing that delivers both brand love and business results.

Role Responsibilities:

Creative, Cultural & Commercial Excellence

  • Act as guardians for the RTD brands both creatively and commercially. Building and creating product propositions and marketing plans in collaboration with key teams and agencies that drive excitement, relevance and awareness with both consumers and customers - executed full funnel to deliver the growth.

Innovation and Renovation Leadership

  • In a fast moving, dynamic category – the brand manager will be responsible for making sure we have the right formats, for the right occasions in the right channels – working with RTD innovation lead and innovation commercialisation to create new opportunities for recruitment and commercial growth

P&L Accountability

  • Accountable for the P&L performance of their brands on a monthly basis. Identifying the opportunities and risks to the plan, in collaboration with commercial teams to create solutions.

Flexible Working Statement:

Our ambition is to create the best performing, most trusted and respected consumer products companies in the world. Join us and help transform our business as we take our brands to the next level and build new ones as part of shaping the next generation of celebrations for consumers around the world.
