We are seeking a Brand & Category Operations Manager to join our international business operations team in the UK. This role will focus on optimising brand and category structures for JD.com’s cross-border e-commerce platforms, supporting the development of user-friendly category systems and structured brand data. The job-holder will work closely with business and product teams to ensure brand and category data supports strategic decision-making and market growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of international retail category structures that align with the shopping behaviours and expectations of overseas users.
  • Streamline and enhance the category application process and governance standards, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Drive the standardisation and optimisation of the international brand database, ensuring information is well-structured, reusable, and interoperable across systems and departments.
  • Utilise category and brand data to conduct market analysis and track competitor trends, providing insights and strategic recommendations for product development and brand enhancement.
 Requirments:
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years experience in e-commerce operations, with exposure to brand or category management in cross-border contexts.
  • Understanding of consumer preferences and brand trends in local markets.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to use data to inform operational strategies.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, proficiency in additional languages (e.g. French, Dutch, German or Mandarin) is highly desirable.
