Role Description: Boutique Store Manager


We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Boutique Store Manager to lead our well-established Pixi boutique, a brand that has enchanted beauty lovers for over 25 years. Known for our innovative skincare and makeup products, Pixi combines the best of beauty and skincare, with a commitment to enhancing natural beauty. As the Boutique Store Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering this magic to our customers, ensuring that the boutique not only exceeds sales targets but also provides an unforgettable shopping experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the face of a globally recognised beauty brand, leading a passionate team and working closely with local retailers and influencers to create memorable customer events. You will ensure that our boutique maintains Pixi’s world-class reputation while continuing to deliver personalised service, professional expertise, and an inspiring atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by executing creative strategies that maintain Pixi’s iconic reputation and ensure the boutique consistently meets sales targets.
  • Inspire and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalised service, expert product knowledge, and hands-on makeup and skincare consultations.
  • Identify local collaboration and event opportunities to engage with the community, partnering with nearby retailers and influencers to create exciting customer events that showcase Pixi's beauty enhancing product range.
  • Provide regular sales and makeover training for the team, ensuring they are skilled in offering tailored beauty solutions that help customers look and feel their best.
  • Maintain an inviting, beautiful store environment, ensuring Pixi's high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and organisation are consistently upheld.
  • Monitor performance metrics and administrative tasks, such as inventory management, sales trackers, and stock levels, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Be the voice of the boutique, advocating for the store’s needs with senior management and pushing forward any initiatives that can further enhance performance and customer engagement.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude while addressing any challenges that arise with both customers and staff, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Stay ahead of beauty trends, continuously providing insights and proposing new ideas to keep Pixi at the forefront of the beauty industry.
  • Take ownership of any additional store manager duties as they arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Full availability to work regular retail hours including evenings, weekends, and all holidays.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, including experience as an assistant manager in a beauty store in central London.
  • A proven ability to lead a team in achieving high sales targets, while maintaining Pixi’s commitment to excellence.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a flair for identifying collaboration and event opportunities that can elevate the store’s performance.
  • Strong customer relationship management, with the ability to resolve issues swiftly while delivering an exceptional in-store experience.
  • A track record of exceeding year-on-year (YOY) sales growth and implementing sales incentives to drive performance.
  • Passion for coaching and developing a small team, helping them to grow their skills and expertise in beauty and customer service.
  • Confident, approachable, and energetic, with excellent communication skills and a love for all things beauty.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, thriving on challenges and always striving for excellence.
  • A true passion for beauty and skincare, with an understanding of Pixi’s values and product offerings.
  • Fluent in English.
