Job Description

In this pivotal and exciting role, reporting to the Group Company Secretary, you'll take a  lead role in ensuring the smooth running of board and committee meetings for Wise plc and principal subsidiaries. 

This is an important role in the Wise Group with an expectation that you will  provide a best in class board support service in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the organisation of the annual board/committee meetings calendar

  • To manage the logistical and administrative arrangements for the plc board and committee meetings and other board/committee events

  • To assist with the provision of support for non-executive directors, including arrangements for onboarding and training

  • To prepare agendas, skeleton minute production, maintenance of action logs, review and circulation of board papers for plc and principal subsidiaries

  • To assist with the logistical and technical arrangements for the AGM

  • To assist with the team’s input to the financial audit and the annual report and accounts

  • Maintain accurate statutory registers, via our entity management system (Diligent Entities)

  • Being the owner of the board portal 

  • Support with governance queries from the business

Qualifications

  • At least two years’ experience working in a fast paced company secretary function

  • Experience in the coordination and administering of corporate and senior level board/committee meetings

  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Proven ability and substantial experience of prioritising and organising a large, complex and busy workload

  • Proficient in company secretarial software (board portal and entity management)

  • Pragmatic, flexible and organised with excellent attention to detail
