About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced OSS (Operations Support System) to support the operation and maintenance of multi-vendor OSS platforms. This role focuses on ensuring reliable network monitoring, performance and fault management across vendor nodes (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE), and supporting large-scale software and hardware migrations and upgrades (for example ENM). You will work closely with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to maintain service levels and improve operational processes.
What you will do
- Operate and maintain OSS platforms, ensuring availability and reliable monitoring of network elements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multi-vendor environments; escalate to vendors when needed.
- Support planning and execution of software and hardware migrations/upgrades, including validation and rollback readiness.
- Monitor performance and faults, analyze incidents, and follow through on remediation to meet SLAs.
- Coordinate with network planning, core network, and service assurance teams to ensure smooth integration and operations.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and configuration baselines; support audits and compliance requests.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce manual tasks and speed response.
- Share knowledge with peers to support consistent practices and team effectiveness.
You will bring
- At least 5 years' experience in OSS operations, management, or maintenance, with hands-on exposure to vendor equipment (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE).
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Practical knowledge of network management, performance monitoring, and fault management systems.
- Experience supporting migrations/upgrades and coordinating multi-vendor activities.
- Proficiency with Linux, databases, storage concepts, and virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM).
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; customer-focused and detail-oriented.
