As a Sales Manager within the Bioproduction Group, you will lead a team of account managers to drive customer success and business growth across the biotech segment. Leveraging Thermo Fisher’s global scale and commercial reach, you will play a key role in supporting customers across research, clinical, and commercial production environments.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, coaching your team to achieve high performance, and building strong, long-term customer relationships. This role combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on commercial execution in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of account managers to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver optimized customer solutions
  • Drive a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage distributor and channel partner relationships
  • Support pricing strategies, negotiations, and commercial decision-making
  • Ensure effective use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics for performance tracking
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
  • Several years of sales experience in life sciences, laboratory products, or a related industry
  • Previous sales management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and data analysis tools
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and pricing management skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
