Job Title: BIM & Digital Delivery Manager

Role Overview:

We’re reinventing how the world uses data centres. Think flexible, optimised colocation services tailored for your requirements – all with the very best customer support you can imagine. And because our data centres are powered by sustainable energy, it doesn’t cost the Earth either. It’s the perfect environment where everyone thrives – you and the planet.

Verne has been recently acquired by Ardian and is currently investing massively into new data centre capacity and needs additional people to support this growth. We need self-driven, experienced, motivated and focused new team members, and offer a dynamic, growth-oriented environment for people to shine and learn.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for the built environment to join our Design and Product Development team. As the BIM and Digital Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for all Verne BIM standards and execution plans, enabling the digital delivery of design and engineering for the success of large-scale and hyperscale data center construction and operations. You will lead digital strategies across our projects and product development activities, ensuring seamless workflows from pre-construction through to project completion.

Working from the head office, you will develop our digital delivery model, standards, and workflows to maturity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the built environment, extensive experience in contractor-style environments for complex infrastructure, and expert knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.

You will own federated models in conjunction with third-party consultants, subcontractor design teams, and site teams, ensuring multidisciplinary coordination and resolving complex design challenges. You will ensure the consistent application of Verne's standards, manage critical technical interfaces, and ensure all digital deliverables support project goals—always within budget and on time.

You will report to the Head of Design & Product Development.

What You’ll Do

You will ensure all Verne building assets are adequately represented for the success of Engineering, Construction, and Operations, owning the plan of record for all planned initiatives, projects, and as-builts.

· Define and Own Standards: Establish and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and digital engineering strategies aligned with ISO 19650.

· CDE Management: Own and manage the Common Data Environment (ACC) standards and workflows across all engineering works.

· Lead Coordination: Oversee model federation, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination workshops to resolve design gaps and ensure information flow.

· Continuous Improvement: Test new and novel methods and software to improve Building Information Management.

· Supply Chain & Onboarding: Ensure effective BIM

onboarding for all vendors and contractors, managing digital scope of work documents and subcontractor appointments. Develop a supply chain for point cloud surveys and other digital delivery assets and services.

· High-Impact Modelling: Perform ad-hoc modelling and 3D construction model development for high-visibility works outside the standard lifecycle.

How You’ll Do It

You will act as the BIM subject matter expert, ensuring digital standards are clear, applied, and optimized across all complex infrastructure builds.

· Design Implementation & Review: Review consultant and specialist contractor deliverables (TIDPs/MIDPs) for strict adherence to Verne standards and ISO requirements.

· Mentorship & Training: Provide technical support and mentorship in Revit, ACC, Navisworks to enhance internal team capabilities.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain clear communication between project managers, design teams, and delivery partners to drive digital construction methodologies.

· Technical Problem Solving: Serve as the first line of defence for coordination issues, utilising clash management processes to maintain the project schedule.

· Reporting: Produce bi-weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting risks, dependencies, and strategic actions for senior leadership.

What You’ll Need

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or similarly related field.

· Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in BIM/Digital Engineering, specifically within data center or large-scale infrastructure projects.

· Leadership: 2+ years in a BIM Manager or Lead capacity, with a proven track record of managing BIM project teams and delivering digital strategies on high-value projects.

· Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC / Forma, COBIE standards.

· Standards Expertise: Working understanding of ISO 19650 and how it is best applied within the context of Verne’s role as owner-operator-developer.

· Execution Focus: Excellence in ensuring technical documentation (BEPs, MIDPs) drives predictable delivery and quality construction.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly between UK, Finland, and Iceland as part of the role.

What We Offer:

- Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, private equity-backed company.

- A dynamic, innovative, and inclusive working environment.

- Competitive compensation and benefits package.

- The chance to work with a talented and ambitious international team.
