We are seeking an experienced Bid and Proposal Manager to lead complex, high-value bids, enhance competitiveness, and shape bid strategies. This role requires proven expertise in bid management, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects while influencing stakeholders across multiple teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute long-term bid strategies that strengthen our competitive position in the market.
  • Manage multiple complex bids, overseeing the process from opportunity assessment through submission and post-tender analysis.
  • Utilize expertise and industry insights to inform decisions, establish new policies, and refine methodologies that improve win rates.
  • Monitor and review bid pipeline opportunities and top-tier renewals within weekly business reviews with Sales Leaders to optimize pursuit strategies.
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of cross-functional teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance and develop frameworks to support on bid/no-bid decisions, assessing risks and rewards with a focus on deal size, cost of sale, and revenue impact.
  • Collaborate across disciplines—including technical, commercial, and legal teams—to develop bids that effectively communicate value.
  • Implement innovative strategies, including AI-driven tools and integrations, to sharpen our competitive edge.
  • Develop proactive proposals, partnering with Product Marketing to equip sales with high-impact resources.
  • Establish a structured feedback loop to capture insights from won and lost bids, driving continuous improvements.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships across the organization and external partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead efforts to refine content within the Responsive bid management tool, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Research and implement tools that enhance RFP pipeline development, pursuit strategies, and capture planning.
  • Drive change management initiatives related to bid processes, ensuring adaptability and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years leading and winning complex, high-value bids, ideally within the B2B Financial Services sector.
  • Strong proposal writing skills, ensuring engaging and persuasive content.
  • Experience in global sales environments, managing multi-regional teams.
  • Expertise in procurement processes, including public-sector bidding.
  • Ability to engage customers via presentations and bid portals.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools such as Loopio and Responsive.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with experience shaping bid policies and methodologies.
  • APMP qualification preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
