Job Description

IFS Europe seeks an experienced Business Development Manager responsible for leading and managing business development representatives supporting our business across Europe. This position will be required to work a hybrid schedule in our Staines, UK office. Requirement to be in the office minimum of 3 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Manage inside business development representatives who are responsible for lead development of all new prospects within the assigned territory to achieve established operational and strategic metrics
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing for Europe, identifying gaps in the market to exploit and how to capitalise on Marketing activities being run
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Business Development to implement new strategies, direct the BDRs and showcase results achieved to leadership across the region
  • Thorough knowledge of companies’ core markets
  • Train, mentor, and coach business development representatives
  • Prioritise and allocate resources.
  • Establish persona messaging by core market
  • Manages operational and strategic metrics reporting by individual business development representatives and teams.
  • Manage Account Executive (AE) allocation to each Sales Qualified Lead (SQL)
  • Manage business development pipeline
  • Manages team to goal attainment
  • Implement processes and tools to assist the business development team in meeting and exceeding operational and strategic goals.
  • Manage business development pending lead queue.
  • Conduct performance reviews and development pathing
  • Ensure CRM is accurately updated by business development representatives
  • Carry quota for strategic metrics

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven success in software telemarketing, inside sales, or software sales
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to quickly gain and demonstrate a high level of understanding of IFS and IFS Application benefits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific emphasis on telephone skills.
  • Experience with contact management applications, Excel, and Word. 
  • Very limited travel is anticipated, if any.
  • Previous use of, or understanding of tools such as Outreach, Demandbase, Consensus would be an advantage
