What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for a new product
- Develop scalable microservices handling high-volume financial data and workflows
- Own data modelling, persistence strategies, and service boundaries
- Improve system performance, observability, and reliability
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to define clear API contracts
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable backend code
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to backend best practices
- Help evolve our backend architecture as we scale
About You
- You have strong experience building backend systems and APIs
- You think in terms of systems, trade-offs, and long-term maintainability
- You care about performance, scalability, and reliability
- You enjoy solving complex data and workflow problems
- You’re comfortable owning backend components end-to-end
- You collaborate well and communicate technical ideas clearly
