Job Description

We are looking for a Back-end Software Engineer in CE Data Foundation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and implements data pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data to Databricks backend.

  • Assembles large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements.

  • Partners with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints.

  • Leverages coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.

  • Provides L3 support for developed products (bug fixing)

Job Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Pyspark for data processing and transformation.

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and job scheduling.

  • Proficiency in Airflow for workflow management and orchestration of data pipelines.

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes using Pyspark, Databricks, and Airflow.

  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling techniques.

  • Understanding of data integration patterns, data lakes, and data quality best practices.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with Azure cloud platform, Google Cloud Platform will be a plus.
