What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

The B2B Content Marketing Manager will manage the delivery of a content strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and lead gen within our SME (CFOs, Finance Controllers, CEOs) and Financial Adviser audiences. This role will combine strategic planning with hands-on content creation to support Flagstone’s organic growth. Working closely with marketing, product, and our SEO agency, the B2B Content Marketing Manager will create high-quality, relevant content across multiple formats and channels, positioning the business as a trusted authority in our market.

What you’ll do:

Brand awareness and engagement: Drive brand awareness among target decision-makers by creating and promoting high-quality, scalable content. Engage our B2B audiences with compelling articles, ebooks, videos, interactive experiences, and more.

Thought leadership and reputation: Establish the company as a thought leader and trusted authority through credible, high-value content. Improve brand reputation by securing third-party backlinks and establishing content partnerships with key influencers.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Improve the company’s organic performance and search rankings by producing consistent, keyword-optimised content and applying SEO best practices. Achieve higher website traffic, increased brand exposure, and drive more qualified leads and clients.

Data-driven content development: Develop high-quality content that aligns with the company's brand voice and resonates with both our business client (B2B) and financial adviser (B2B2C) target audiences. Build and maintain a content ecosystem that maximises the value of each asset through repurposing and multi-channel distribution. Partner with data teams to gain insight that informs creation of new content assets.

Lead generation and client acquisition: Support lead generation and client acquisition efforts by partnering with product teams to deliver content aligned to our client journey. Produce engaging and informative content to capture the attention of potential clients, nurture them through the marketing funnel, and help convert them into leads.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B content marketing or related role, ideally in finance or fintech.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align content plans to business and marketing objectives.
  • Exceptional writing skills for a professional and technical audience, with experience creating thought leadership, case studies, whitepapers, and campaign content.
  • Ability to translate technical or complex financial information into clear, compelling, and engaging stories.
  • Strong data analysis and research skills to inform strategy, generate content insights and ideas, and support thought leadership initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page and off-site optimisation, and content performance tracking.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of content assets.
  • Skilled in managing content workflows from concept to publication, including compliance and stakeholder reviews.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (we use Umbraco), and analytics dashboards such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
