THE ROLE:
The AV Solutions Engineer will work as a member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) team for our client. The Engineer reports to the Senior Manager of Collaboration out of the London office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The AV Solutions Engineer is responsible for project launch, coordination and completion. The specialist will play a key role in standardizing equipment, strategies, and overall large projects working in conjunction with our real estate and technology teams. In addition, the engineer will oversee the preventative maintenance, upkeep and escalations for all conference areas throughout our global footprint. The primary responsibilities of the role are system design, maintenance, and project delivery including:
  • Project schedules, risk management and communicating goals to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with teams across the globe to ensure project delivery, budget, and installation management.
  • Upgrade firmware, coding and upkeep industry standards to all equipment.
  • Coordinate with partners to schedule techs, programmers & engineers for deployment. 
  • Assist with project handover, managing pending project list, project reports and programming bugs/issues.
  • Work with construction teams, vendors, consultants and field teams to deliver our global design.
  • Provide documentation including change requests, expenditure requests, timelines, milestone notifications and project handover.
  • Troubleshoot urgent escalations, software issues and/or any other related issues pertaining to completed projects.
  • Manage task, finance, personnel and partners to successfully delivery project objectives.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years’ experience in AV system design, room Integration & project management.
  • Advanced understanding of AV system functionality, integration, programming and techniques.
  • Proficiency with office365, project management software and CAD
  • Extensive knowledge of video networks, video over IP, switching, DSP’s, audio distribution and control processors 
  • Creative problem-solving, logical deployment skills, agile under pressure, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including, engineering and architectural design, timelines, acoustical reports, and constructions documents.
  • Excellent communications skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
