M+C Saatchi is looking for an AV & IT Specialist to join our IT team in London. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our business, responsible for ensuring our meeting rooms, audio-visual technology, events and IT services run seamlessly across the Group. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional support to employees, clients and visitors, combining AV expertise, event coordination and IT support to create a smooth and reliable workplace experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The AV & IT Specialist will be responsible for delivering efficient operational support across the Group, ensuring high-quality management of meeting rooms, AV equipment, and events both internal and external.

The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to maintain a best-in-class working environment. This position is critical in supporting compliance, maintaining infrastructure, and driving operational excellence, while also overseeing event coordination for both internal and external engagements.

In addition to AV and event responsibilities, this role also involves providing 1st and 2nd line IT support as needed. This includes resolving service desk tickets, delivering deskside technical assistance, and supporting end users with hardware, software, and system-related issues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

What you'll do:

  • Meeting Room Management (Microsoft Teams Rooms) – Monitor, support, check and maintain all meeting rooms. Includes Q-Sys, Logitech, Sennheiser and other similar technologies

  • Event & Pitch Coordination – Lead planning, execution, and support for internal and external events and pitches. Willingness to travel offsite around London to assist the business with pitches and other events

  • Digital Signage & Office Environment Services – Manage audio streaming, events, and presentations across office spaces

  • Equipment Maintenance – Ensure all AV and operational equipment is in working order, reporting faults via onsite procedures

  • Confidentiality & Data Security – Safeguard sensitive materials related to presentations, events, and broadcasts

  • Operations Support – Provide administrative assistance, including responding to requests and tickets, information gathering meetings, and handling inquiries relating to events/pitches/setups

  • AV Setup & Technical Assistance – Assist staff and clients in using fixed and portable AV equipment for meetings and conferences

  • Diary & Calendar Management – Support scheduling of AV services, events, and meetings

  • Asset Management – Maintain operational databases for all AV and Meeting room hardware

  • Daily Operational Support – Act as the IT/AV point of contact for operational event support needs, responding to tickets from end users in an efficient manner

  • AV System Setup & Operation – Lead the setup and management of AV equipment and systems including off-site pitches

  • General IT Support (2nd Line) – Assist with IT support duties including incident response, troubleshooting, imaging devices, user onboarding/offboarding employees, Office 365 admin, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues

  • Work closely with our vendors and suppliers to ensure events and meetings run seamlessly for the organisation

  • Meet regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure all bases are covered for events, off-site pitches and general meeting room functionality

What you'll bring:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms, audio-visual technologies and a CTS certification

  • Deep understanding of IT networks and the technology ‘behind’ the AV equipment, notably QSys, Logitech, network patching/troubleshooting

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certified or a good understanding of ITIL principles, specifically Incident Management when handling meeting room/end user issues

  • Best-in-class user service and communication with the ability to remove technical jargon when communicating with users

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 support (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

  • Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting (Windows and Mac laptops and peripherals)

  • Windows 11 and macOS support experience

  • Incident and ticket management using tools like ServiceNow or Fresh Service

  • Printer troubleshooting

  • Experience of events and conferences, including operating sound desks, visuals and cameras

  • Hands-on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of IT/AV hardware and software

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships

  • A proactive team player, actively contributing to the workplace culture

  • A meticulous attention to detail, somebody who takes pride in their work

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in AV and event technologies
