The opportunity  

The Associate Workday Analyst will support and maintain Workday’s HCM modules, focusing on our people data management, resolving end user issues, optimising business processes, and generating reports. This role is essential for ensuring data integrity, performing system tests, supporting Workday upgrades, and analysing data flows to identify opportunities for process improvements.

This role is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blendit’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and 'to do' list

What you’ll get up to🌠 

  • Act as the first point of contact for end users, managing and resolving Workday-related issues and escalating where needed.

  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for HCM and Payroll queries from the People Team, ensuring Workday continues to meet operational needs.

  • Identify recurring system or data issues and process gaps, proactively recommending improvements to drive efficiency and system performance.

  • Resolve and enhance system configuration, covering bug fixes, enhancements, testing, and documentation of changes.

  • Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of training materials for end users, working closely with the People Team and the Workday Product Owner.

  • Assist with testing during Workday releases, including regression testing.

  • Partner with the Workday Product Owner to test new system configurations as required.

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support wider business needs.

  • Carry out scheduled system activities, recommending alternative solutions where appropriate to meet requirements.

  • Perform regular audits to maintain data quality and ensure effective system upkeep.

What we need from you 💡 

  • Proven experience using Workday HCM (around 2 years’ experience is ideal)

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. 

  • Solutions focused and curious mindset.

  • Seeking out new assignments to learn and demonstrate willingness to develop skills. 

  • Demonstrated analytical capability, with the confidence to interpret and work with data.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other members while fostering and maintaining positive relationships.

  • Ideally experience of, or willingness to learn, agile ways of working
