About the Role

At Howden, we’re redefining the way we attract and hire talent. As an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment efforts across Group Functions and Enterprise Divisions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their recruitment career who is eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll work closely with our experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partners to help deliver a seamless and engaging recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers. From sourcing top talent to coordinating interviews and maintaining our systems, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to build a diverse and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, candidate communications, and offer coordination.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates for a variety of roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing tools.
  • Maintain and update our ATS (Workday Recruiting) to ensure accurate data and reporting.
  • Coordinate and support hiring events, candidate assessments, and onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with TA Business Partners to understand hiring needs and provide administrative and operational support.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including social media content and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and diversity data.
  • Stay up to date on recruitment best practices and contribute ideas to improve our processes and candidate experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Some experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative support role (in-house or agency) is preferred.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition and a desire to build a career in recruitment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems (experience with Workday or similar ATS is a plus).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to take initiative.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Interest in or willingness to learn about the financial services/insurance industry.
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a growing and ambitious Talent Acquisition team.
  • Gain hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced TA professionals.
  • Opportunity to work on exciting projects and initiatives that shape the future of recruitment at Howden.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture where your development is a priority.
What do we offer in return?

A career that you define. At Howden, we value diversity – there is no one Howden type. Instead, we’re looking for individuals who share the same values as us:

  • Our successes have all come from someone brave enough to try something new

  • We support each other in the small everyday moments and the bigger challenges

  • We are determined to make a positive difference at work and beyond

Reasonable adjustments

We're committed to providing reasonable accommodations at Howden to ensure that our positions align well with your needs.  Besides the usual adjustments such as software, IT, and office setups, we can also accommodate other changes such as flexible hours* or hybrid working*.

If you're excited by this role but have some doubts about whether it’s the right fit for you, send us your application – if your profile fits the role’s criteria, we will be in touch to assist in helping to get you set up with any reasonable adjustments you may require.

*Not all positions can accommodate changes to working hours or locations. Reach out to your Recruitment Partner if you want to know more.
