The Job's Mission

The Associate Supervisor will oversee the management of  a department within the UK Warehouse oragnization to ensure our clients receive the highest possible service. They will be responsible for ensuring service levels and business targets are achieved whilst keeping safety and quality at the heart of the operation. The Associate Supervisor will drive the European Warehouse strategy and coach and develop the team to be high performing and deliver results.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Lead a diverse team of up to 8 direct reports.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving business targets and objectives with direct responsibility for the returns department.
  • Collaborate with neighbouring functions to exceed the customers’ expectations.
  • Analyse performance and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders at local and regional level.
  • Develop talent and create an environment where employees can flourish.
  • Ensure team members are trained and competent in all activities undertaken.
  • Drive engagement to align with the company’s culture.
  • Promote a safe working environment and champion quality.
  • Be an expert in departmental process.
  • Any other reasonable request in line with the operational needs of the business.

Education

  • GCSE or higher.

Experience

  • Experience leading a diverse team in a warehouse environment.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green or Black belt qualification is an advantage.
