As an Associate QA Engineer, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. The role:
As an Associate QA Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
- Supporting testing activities across a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications, platforms, and systems to help ensure high-quality solutions.
- Executing manual, exploratory, and automated tests to identify defects, validate functionality, and provide reliable feedback to delivery teams.
- Working closely with developers, architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to build quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Supporting automation and continuous testing practices while developing your technical skills and testing expertise.
- Collaborating with experienced quality engineers to learn testing best practices and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality engineering standards, testing practices, automation frameworks, and tooling.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- 2+ years' experience in quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering roles.
- Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks and an interest in developing automation skills.
- Good understanding of software testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Experience collaborating with team members and stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify potential quality risks.
- A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
