Who we are 🩵

We’re the people behind the global loyalty currency, Avios, and home to three ambitious, growing businesses; IAG Loyalty, BA Holidays and The Wine Flyer. Each business has its own goals and strategy, but collectively we create brilliant experiences for our global customers.

We’re on a truly exciting journey of growth and transformation – we’re going places! This is where you come in.

The opportunity ✨

As an Associate Product Owner, Core Loyalty API Services, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the API services that power our loyalty programmes. Working closely with the Service Lead, Tech Leads, and Engineers, you’ll help shape and execute the product roadmap, delivering secure and reliable solutions that create value for customers, partners, and the business.

Business Services is the heart of our loyalty capabilities, supporting identity, membership, currency, and redemption services. Together, we enable seamless experiences for millions of customers and our global partners.

This role is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend — it’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and 'to do' list.

What you'll get up to 🌠

You’ll work alongside Tech Leads and Engineers to deliver secure, high-quality API services while assisting in managing agile delivery frameworks to ensure smooth processes and ceremonies. Supporting the Service Lead, you’ll help maintain and prioritise the product roadmap, drawing on insights from stakeholders, analytics, and business priorities. You’ll write clear and actionable user stories to guide the development team and monitor live product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring compliance with data governance objectives. Additionally, you’ll contribute to maintaining the secure and reliable operation of the live product and provide updates to stakeholders, fostering alignment and transparency.

What we need from you 💡

  • Experience with API services, focusing on operational resilience and data quality.

  • Strong understanding of how your product serves business functions.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • A commitment to fostering diverse and high-performing teams.

We might not be right for you if:

  • You only want to focus on your to-do list; we’re a small, high-performing team, we help each other to succeed.

  • You value perfection over fast iteration and progress; IAG Loyalty moves fast, we learn and iterate as we go; our environment isn’t right for everyone.

  • You’re looking to create but not build; this is an end-to-end role, you need to be comfortable owning your space, from ideation through to delivery and review
