About the RoleSwift seeks to reduce friction and make cross-border payments more predictable – giving more confidence over if (and when) a payment will
reach its destination. The SwiftRef product is a suite of data-sets and delivery channels which allow banks to populate accurate reference data as part of their payment preparation process.
The role is for a Product Manager in the SwiftRef product development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customer needs, capturing feedback, consolidating requirements, and translating them into requirements for our IT teams

  • Work with the SwiftRef Product Owner to define and maintain product roadmaps, using agile tools and methodologies

  • Performing thorough market and competitive analysis on the payments and financial reference data landscapes

Competency Profile:

  • Direct experience working with SwiftRef data or demonstrate familiarity with payment reference data in general. For example, SSIs or regulatory payment purpose codes

  • Knowledge of the different Payment Market Infrastructures and Payment Operators

  • Experience in working on cross-border payments, including familiarity with ‘Currency Guides’ is a plus

  • Collect and process business requirements, from internal stakeholders and customers

  • Write supporting documentation, like functional specifications or test/use cases

  • Liaise with Support on customer queries and support cases. Must be a problem solver. Must have the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, including unique, complex problems. This includes the ability to prioritise effectively

  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, who can collaborate effectively with regional teams

  • Experience with Agile Tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket) and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy and Excel are an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience or Payment Operations experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
