Who You Are:

We're seeking a thoughtful and curious designer whose skills are balanced between visual design and user-experience design. We are particularly interested in the following characteristics:

  • Experienced in and curious about the nuances of interaction design

The UX/UI designer will report to the Head of UX Design and work closely with teams from across the business to understand their needs, ensuring we balance them with those of our users. It is a varied role working on multiple projects whilst always focusing on delivering pixel-perfect designs with detailed guidance for development teams.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop user-friendly, on brand designs based on user research and feedback
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups as appropriate
  • Think through journeys, feature variances, interactions and behaviours and ensuring detailed UX requirements are documented for handover to engineers
  • Contribute to and feedback on the existing design system, including documenting clear guidance for other designers to follow
  • Review the design build and work with engineering to correct any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, marketing and the design lead to define user interface requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • A demonstrable interest in designing cryptocurrency or traditional finance (TradFi) products
  • 5+ years of experience in product design delivering Enterprise, B2B, and/or SAAS products.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing and shipping large-scale product releases
  • Strong knowledge of UX principles and how they apply across API, web, desktop and mobile
  • Entrepreneurial drive and a desire to work in a commercially focused, fast-paced environment
  • Team player: Comfortable collaborating with fellow designers and broader product team to deliver the best outcome
  • Strong understanding of the product design process
  • Ability to apply and facilitate iterative discovery, design thinking and co-creation methodologies

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience working in agile development environments, ideally in-house within an integrated product, engineering, and design team
  • Experience designing and maintaining a design system library.
  • Experience with user research, including contextual inquiry and usability testing
