About this role

Your team

Preqin Client Experience (CX), part of the Preqin Client Management organization within the Aladdin Client Business, is focused on maximizing product value and delivering an exceptional client experience. The team acts as a group of consultative domain experts, helping shape client workflows and drive adoption of Preqin’s solutions across client organizations.

We partner closely with Client Engagement, Product, Data, and the broader Aladdin ecosystem to deliver a cohesive, high-quality experience that reflects BlackRock’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and client centricity.

Your role and impact

The Associate Client Success Manager role within Client Experience plays a critical role in shaping how clients leverage Preqin’s data, insights, and products. This is a consultative, subject-matter expert role focused on advising clients on private markets data, optimizing workflows, and expanding Preqin’s footprint within their organizations.

You will build strong cross-functional relationships, translate data and product expertise into actionable guidance, and proactively identify opportunities to improve adoption and the client experience. In partnership with Client Engagement, you will help reduce friction, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure clients realize the full strategic value of Preqin’s solutions.

Your responsibilities

In every role at BlackRock, you'll be expected to apply sound judgement and critical thinking to solve complex problems, adapt as the business evolves, and combine the curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies with the rigor to challenge the results. The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:

  • Build consultative partnerships with client subject-matter experts, super-users, and key stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their objectives and workflows to align Preqin’s capabilities, shape best practices, and maximize strategic value.
  • Partner with Client Engagement across onboarding, adoption, and renewal, proactively using client usage and engagement insights to identify adoption opportunities, potential churn signals, and areas of friction.
  • Develop deep expertise in Preqin’s data and its application across client workflows and analytics, alongside foundational knowledge of eFront and Aladdin, to resolve complex client enquiries and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with Client Engagement, Sales, and the broader Aladdin Client Business to identify growth opportunities and deliver a cohesive, high-quality client experience.
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering to resolve issues, surface recurring client feedback, and contribute the client voice to roadmap discussions, while improving internal processes and knowledge sharing.

Your experience
  • Bring 3+ years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, or another client-facing role within private markets, financial services, SaaS, technology, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrate initiative and independence, with a solutions-oriented approach that turns product and client-journey friction into opportunities for improvement while supporting peers.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships through a collaborative and transparent approach, communicating with clarity and confidence to encourage cross-functional alignment.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating resilience and agility when navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Bring full professional proficiency in English; professional proficiency in Italian, French, and/or German is a plus.
