We are seeking an Associate People Operations Partner to support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle while delivering exceptional employee experiences across UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
This role is responsible for managing HR operations processes, employee transactions, onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, case management, and employee support activities. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers while ensuring service excellence, process compliance, and operational efficiency.
You will be empowered to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and help implement improvements that enhance the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
The role is hybrid-based in Basingstoke, UK, and primarily supports UK, Ireland and the Nordics and also provides backup support for other countries across EMEA including Spain, Italy, France, and Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• HR Transactions and Data Management. Manage routine and mildly complex employee lifecycle transactions, including documentation, system updates, and approvals. Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant HR records across systems while supporting data integrity, audits, and quality assurance activities.• Employee Support and Case Management. Provide responsive support to employees by addressing HR inquiries, administering HR Programmes and policies, and managing Tier 2 ServiceNow tickets within established SLAs. Research issues, assess available information, and determine appropriate next steps within established guidelines, escalating more complex matters as needed. Ensure interactions are handled with professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality and a strong service orientation.• Employee Journeys and High-Touch Experience Delivery. Manage onboarding, offboarding, HR-managed leaves, and global transfer journeys in line with global standards and local requirements. Deliver a high-touch experience by guiding employees and managers through these key moments, monitoring progress, identifying gaps or delays, and helping employees feel supported, informed, and set up for success.• Payroll and Benefits Administration Support. Support payroll processes by submitting monthly changes and new hire documentation to internal payroll teams. Perform benefits administration, including enrolments, terminations, renewals, annual requirements, vendor coordination, and local benefits activities.• Audits and Surveys. Support internal and external audits and survey requests by gathering and validating employee data and ensuring appropriate documentation and accuracy.• Process Improvement and Documentation. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and documentation to support consistent, efficient service delivery. Participate in system testing and support implementation of enhancements as needed.• Reporting and Project Support. Review service delivery metrics to identify trends and inform improvements. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including system updates, process improvements, and operational transitions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.• 2-4 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, HR Shared Services, or HR Generalist roles.• Fluent English.• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Experience supporting employee lifecycle activities.• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.• Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.
Preferred• Experience with Oracle HCM.• Experience with ServiceNow.• Experience supporting UK HR operations.• Payroll and benefits administration experience.• Experience with HR process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
