As part of a Vista portfolio company, you’ll work in an environment backed by deep expertise, long-term investment, and a strong commitment to building market-leading businesses and meaningful careers.

Why This Role Matters

As our National Sales Director, you will drive growth across the UK and European market by winning new customers and expanding relationships with existing property and casualty (P&C) insurance clients. You will lead complex enterprise sales opportunities, build trusted relationships with senior decision makers, and align Duck Creek’s software and services with customers’ strategic priorities. This is an opportunity to develop high-value relationships across the London Market, specialty insurance, and reinsurance sectors while contributing directly to Duck Creek’s continued growth. We have a well-established customer base in France – French language skills are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Win new business and grow existing strategic accounts by developing and executing account, prospecting, and pursuit strategies across the London Market, specialty insurance, and reinsurance sectors – particularly in France.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity identification and qualification through solution positioning, proposal development, commercial discussions, and close, maintaining an accurate pipeline and bookings forecast in Salesforce.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and other key decision makers, developing a strong understanding of customer strategies and creating account plans and roadmaps that align Duck Creek software and services with their business priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional account and pursuit teams across sales, solutions, services, and external partners, establishing clear account strategies and effective customer governance to support growth and long-term relationships.
  • Identify customer challenges, expansion opportunities, and opportunities for innovation, working with customers and internal teams to progress opportunities from initial concept through commercial pursuit and delivery.
  • Strengthen customer value and account growth by expanding Duck Creek’s footprint, supporting value realization, and developing long-term relationships that contribute to customer satisfaction, advocacy, and sustainable revenue growth.

What You Bring

  • Experience in enterprise software or technology sales, or in advising on technology strategy and transformation within the insurance sector, either in an internal strategy or change role or with a consulting firm.

  • Knowledge of the insurance sector, ideally reinsurance or the London Market/specialty insurance, with an understanding of the relevant market, customers, business models, and strategic priorities.

  • Experience contributing to multi-stakeholder sales processes, client engagements, or change programs, with the ability to build credible relationships with senior customer stakeholders.

  • A consultative, solution-focused approach, with experience in, or a strong appetite to develop, prospecting, account planning, pipeline development, opportunity management, forecasting, and closing complex transactions.

  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across sales, solutions, services, and partner organizations, maintaining focus on strategic customer and commercial outcomes.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and influencing skills, combined with the ability to understand customer challenges and connect them to relevant software and service capabilities.

  • Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders in both languages.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Opportunity to contribute to technology supporting the global property and casualty insurance industry.
  • Work within a global, collaborative environment where employees are encouraged to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
