Position Summary:

The role of the Marketing Associate is to support the Head of AWMS EMEA Marketing with the planning, development, and execution of the AWMS marketing strategy for the EMEA region. This position will focus on delivering high quality, targeted marketing campaigns, taking ownership of local product marketing materials, delivering the annual events program and managing marketing related client service requirements. The position will work closely with Product Specialists, Product Marketing and Distribution teams across the AWMS business to create compelling product messaging and develop a suite of locally relevant product literature for the region. A successful candidate will have strong project management skills for executing comprehensive omnichannel campaigns. The candidate will be a detail-oriented and deadline-driven professional who excels in a fast-paced setting and ensures the delivery of outstanding materials.

Essential Duties:

  • Creation of product launch related material for multiple regions in line with regional regulatory requirements
  • Creation of sales support material that is nuanced to meet audience needs as well as meet regional regulatory requirements across the EMEA region
  • Produce content for the EMEA social media marketing campaign
  • Produce content for targeted campaign activity across digital landscape including website, email and social media
  • Support investment relations team with product marketing materials including monthly Factsheets, Q&A, Quarterly Letters and originating fund website content
  • Manage support for events and produce pre and post-event marketing content, banners and merchandise
  • Manage marketing related client service requirements e.g. quarterly calls, monthly insight email newsletters, etc.
  • Manage translations for all EMEA marketing materials
  • Manage review and coordinate updates of EMEA website content on a quarterly basis, as well as review the AWMS ‘AccessAres’ brand initiative website for regional relevancy. This includes managing ongoing performance updates to product webpages
  • Provide support on lead-generation and nurture programs

Required Skills:

  • Investment product knowledge and story building expertise required    
  • Ability to write, draft and create original content    
  • Exceptional project management skills, detail-oriented and willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Flexible, responsive, and customer-focused to deal with changing priorities, meet deadlines and build customer confidence
  • Ability to handle busy workflow with composure and competence is essential
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and competitive environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multiple internal and external clients, vendors and marketing team members on a daily basis
  • B2B marketing experience, including direct contact with sales force and in-depth knowledge of the sales process required
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in product marketing or similar function
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree
  • Financial Services Industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a variety of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience working with compliance and regulatory guidance to ensure compliant collateral is preferred
  • Experience with project management systems and software is a plus
