Associate Marketing Manager - 12-Month Contract - Remote

The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and deployment of email and SMS requests on behalf of both external and internal clients. This role supports email campaign requests across multiple business units. They will offer a local market viewpoint to ensure global marketing materials are relevant, timely and appealing to our audience.

  • Develop the multi-touch email marketing strategy, roadmap, and programs to enhance Claire's audience engagement through segmentation, automation, A/B testing & personalization 
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of campaign briefs in alignment with Integrated Marketing and Branding guidelines 
  • Managing all market activity calendars in consultation with trading and creative teams 
  • Stewarding the development, testing and localization of our Global email program 
  • Leading the digital marketing reporting process, to ensure initiatives are measured and optimized 
  • Maintaining a close look at urgent requests, changes and edits needed to pivot direction accordingly 
  • Quickly building relationships, and maintaining contact with various teams across the organization and external partners to ensure initiatives are maximized to deliver e-commerce revenue across all digital marketing channels 
  • Having a finger on the pulse of events/celebrities/fashions/technologies that are important to our Claire’s & Icing target audience to assist in the creation of top performing digital creative and content 
  • Managing the planning/content calendar for our Global email program, offering creative ideas that are relevant and engaging for our audience 
  • Weekly and sometimes daily analysis of key initiatives via Google Analytics and other reporting software 
  • Support the Senior Manager and Director of Growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communication, Business, or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast-paced Ecommerce business 
  • Marketing campaign analysis and reporting 
  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing 
  • Copy writing and creative development is a nice to have, but not required 
  • Social media experience is a nice to have, but not required 
  • Project Management 
  • Broad understanding and working knowledge of digital marketing mix 
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics skills 
  • An understanding of consumer behavior principles

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Remote (UK-based)
  • This is a 12-month contract
