Job Description

OVERVIEW:

In this role, you’ll help us get existing and future clients excited about all the products in our portfolio – with a focus on our streaming products in particular.

You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work with the global marketing team (product marketing managers, graphic designers, CRM and digital marketing specialists, etc.) and the different product teams to conceive, implement and report on our marketing campaigns. That means analysing how well they drive, nurture and convert sales leads for us.

Must haves for this role: a passion for professional sports (as a fan) so you can relate to our clients and their customers, a hands-on mentality, and an eye for detail. You’ll be comfortable bringing new ideas to the table. And you’ll want to become an expert on the areas you’ll be working in. Candidates with marketing experience are considered for the role, however experience in B2B or SaaS company, is a plus.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Support in creating and implementing marketing plans for the Audiovisual and the Betting Entertainment and Virtual sports units, to help achieve ambitious growth targets on a global scale.
  • Plan and execute account-based campaigns, alongside product launches and activations through all marketing channels.
  • Work with internal and external teams to create, distribute and maintain concise marketing material.
  • Build a deep understanding of the sports-technology and sports-betting landscape.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between the product and sales teams.
  • Make sure all activity lines up with the wider Sportradar marketing team, and all information in our internal project-management systems are up to date and accurate.
  • Support in coordinating activities with the Sportradar PR and communications team to get the most out of all our marketing.
  • Support in planning and coordinating our trade show appearances throughout the year.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in marketing, sports management, business administration or similar
  • An understanding of sport and/or sports betting
  • An arsenal of creative yet strategic skills to spot opportunities, resource key projects, translate marketing strategies into measurable actions, and get results
  • An appetite to learn and research new industries, innovations and developments
  • MS Office skills, especially in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to translate product features into benefits and articulate them in a way that resonates with the target audience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities
  • A hands-on, just-do-it mentality
  • The confidence to deal with tight deadlines and changing priorities, while keeping our long-term objectives in mind
  • A way with people, and a natural skill for communication
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in English

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive sales leads and awareness
  • Working in B2B marketing
  • Working for a sports or technology company
  • Working in a global business.

OUR OFFER:

  • The opportunity to be the next B2B marketing star in the sports-technology industry
  • A close-knit global marketing team to go to for advice, and learn from
  • The buzz of a fast-paced sports business
  • The benefits of a hybrid work scheme with a great balance of home-office and a well-equipped office space with perks like fresh fruit baskets twice a week, vouchers you can use for local shops or for gym membership, and a company pension scheme.
