Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking an Associate Inside Sales Representative (ISR) - DoD, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, USA, on the Sales team. This position is a junior-level sales support role focused on the U.S. Department of Defense. The successful individual in this Associate ISR role will support the Senior ISR and Sales Directors through CRM data management, quote preparation, research, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for individuals new to defense sales who are eager to learn and contribute to a high-performing team.
This position can be hybrid or fully remote (depending on location). If on hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role if hybrid is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with quote generation, CRM updates, and pre-sales documentation.
- Conduct initial research on DoD opportunities, solicitations, and market developments.
- Support Sales Directors with basic correspondence and scheduling.
- Shadow product demos and join virtual client meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with the Sales Administration and Sales Engineering teams on proposals.
- Monitor contract portals and highlight leads to Senior ISR.
- Prepare briefing materials and data summaries for internal use.
- Support tradeshow preparation and follow-up logistics.
- Actively pursue ongoing education on industry terminology, government procurement processes, competitors, and competitive technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of sales, proposal, or analyst experience.
- Organized, communicative, and eager to learn about defense sales.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and/or equivalent Google tools.
- NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.
- Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, PDF tools, and CRM systems for daily communication and collaboration.
COMPENSATION: $24.04 - $28.85 / hourly
This pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
