We are looking for an Associate to join our Global Pricing & Market Access consulting team and be a critical member of project teams by providing analytical insight and creativity to billable client engagements, business development efforts and internal initiatives.

In this role, you will help to deliver projects, execute work plans, and develop robust and valuable conclusions and recommendations for our clients under the supervision and guidance of a project manager. As an Associate you are vital to ensuring that we provide our clients with the insights and information they need to achieve success.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.

  • BA/BS in a STEM subject, life sciences or Engineering or business-related field is required

  • 0 -1 year of relevant consulting or advisory experience within life sciences/biopharma

  • 0 -1 year of relevant Global Pricing & Market Access consulting or advisory experience

  • Proficiency across various consulting and research methodologies, including the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis, primary & secondary research, and analytic modelling and forecasting

  • Experienced with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

It would be great if you also had :

  • MS/MPH/ /PhD  (preferred)

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Conduct qualitative research through desktop research and participate in interviews with KOLs, physicians, providers, payors and industry experts to obtain insights and data relevant to client engagements

  • Perform quantitative analysis (e.g., financial modelling, data manipulation, claims analysis) to develop accurate product and market forecasts (e.g., sales projections, size of market, etc.)

  • Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine the “so-what” for clients

  • Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs

  • Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, etc.

  • Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time

  • Collate data from diverse sources to support comprehensive commercial analyses and decision-making processes

  • Conduct preliminary analysis of commercial data under the guidance of senior consultants, contributing to the formulation of strategic insights and recommendations

  • Collaborate with consultants in preparing high-quality customer deliverables, including reports, presentations, and strategic documents, ensuring accuracy and relevance

  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to contribute ideas and strategies for addressing customer challenges and advancing project goals

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of analytical models and frameworks that drive data-driven decision-making and strategic planning for customers

  • Acquire foundational knowledge of commercial consulting processes, including market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning, through structured training and hands-on customer projects

  • We combine deep domain expertise and data-driven analysis to deliver relevant insights and customized, actionable solutions for our clients in the areas such as Global Pricing and Market access. The teams you will work with are primarily located in EMEA, and you may work with teams internationally in the US and APAC

  • The Global Pricing & Market Access team operates within the Life Sciences & Healthcare Commercial Consulting team and is comprised of experts with a wide range of backgrounds – including industry, medical, research & consulting experts

Clarivate Commercial Consulting Services provides advisory and management consulting services to industry-leading and emerging pharmaceutical, biotechnology and MedTech companies.

We combine deep domain expertise and data-driven analysis to deliver relevant insights and customized, actionable solutions for our clients in the areas such as  New Product and Portfolio Strategy, Transaction Advisory, Business Development & Licensing.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our Liverpool Street office (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote).

This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
