Reporting into the Head of EMEA Media & Operations, the role sits within the EMEA Marketing Team focusing on EMEA-wide BlackRock & iShares campaigns. As a central function the team is responsible for the planning & distribution of client experiences that build the BlackRock and iShares product brand awareness, consideration and preference.
Role and Impact:
This role is responsible for driving the execution, optimisation, and governance of paid social media activity across EMEA, with a particular focus on LinkedIn and other key platforms including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube. The individual will play a critical role in advancing BlackRock’s paid social capability by improving targeting sophistication, campaign effectiveness, and operational excellence.
Working closely with campaign managers, local marketing teams, and agency partners, this role ensures paid social activity is executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with strategic objectives. It also contributes to the continuous evolution of media practices through insight-led optimisation, testing, and cross-team collaboration. The position offers strong exposure to cross-market campaigns, senior stakeholders, and platform partners, with opportunities to deepen expertise in digital media, strategy, and performance marketing.
Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for managing and evolving paid social activity across platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube, with a strong focus on driving performance and innovation.
Developing and refining audience targeting strategies to ensure campaigns are increasingly tailored, effective, and aligned to priority client segments.
Partnering with campaign managers to ensure paid social campaigns—particularly LinkedIn—are set up, launched, and optimised accurately and efficiently.
Overseeing account management best practices, including quality assurance of campaign setup, taxonomy, and execution standards.
Managing campaign flighting and budget allocation across markets, brands, and formats to maximise performance and efficiency.
Analysing media performance, competitive activity, and share of voice to inform optimisations and improve media mix decisions.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including campaign teams and local marketing managers, to drive alignment and consistency.
Acting as a key point of contact with agency partners (e.g. Mindshare) to ensure effective collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous optimisation.

Ability to build strong working relationships quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Ability to work effectively in an international team environment often in a complex matrix structure.
Demonstrated use of AI tools with fluency and agility, showing adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to learn in evolving environments.

Qualifications:
Ideally 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
Strong experience in developing marketing materials, with excellent written English.
Experience in campaign reporting, data visualisation, performance analysis, and optimisation.
Experience managing or scaling campaigns across multiple markets and languages is advantageous.
ETF and broader investment/financial knowledge is beneficial.

Our hybrid work model
