Responsibilities
  • Implement low-complexity study configurations and author low-complexity agents, translating defined specifications and customer protocols into working solutions.
  • Implement study configurations based on customer protocols, translating the protocol and schedule of assessments into a working Medable study (eCOA, ePRO, eConsent, visit schedules, and forms).
  • Author, configure, and optimize agents in Agent Studio that help Medable's own delivery and Global Services teams work faster, applying human-in-the-loop safeguards and core agentic patterns such as reasoning loops and tool use.
  • Build test scenarios and execute technical and quality assurance checks, troubleshooting and resolving defects prior to sign-off.
  • Support project plans by tracking timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones.
  • Track project financials for assigned work, including timecards and hours, and flag variances.
  • Manage personal workload across concurrent assignments to meet delivery dates.
  • Prepare status updates for internal teams and customers, and escalate risks to senior FDEs in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer sessions and prepare training and guidance materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience
  • Recent graduate, or up to 2 years of hands-on experience in platform configuration, technical implementation, or a related technical delivery role (internships included), or a combination of education and experience.
  • Foundational exposure to agentic AI or agent systems (autonomous agents, reasoning loops, tool use, LLMs), with a strong drive to build technical depth quickly.
  • Some familiarity with configuring software or authoring in low-code or platform tooling.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials or eClinical systems (eCOA, ePRO, eConsent) is a plus but not required.
Skills
  • Aptitude for authoring agents and configuring software in platform and low-code tooling, with familiarity with developer-adjacent tools (Git, Confluence, Postman, command line or terminal).
  • Foundational understanding of agentic AI concepts (LLMs, agents, prompts, reasoning loops, human-in-the-loop).
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and how platforms integrate with external systems.
  • Strong technical problem-solving instincts and rapid learning of new platforms and tools.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including basic technical communication.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace); team-oriented mindset.
Education, Certifications, Licenses
  • Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Health Informatics, or a related technical field preferred).
  • Coursework or projects in AI, data, or software configuration is a plus. Project management certifications are not required.
