The UK Data Products team delivers outstanding service to clients subscribing to YouGov BrandIndex and Profiles. We combine syndicated tools, advanced analytics, data visualisation and powerful storytelling to answer our clients’ most strategic business questions — from brand health tracking and customer journeys to audience profiling and campaign effectiveness.
 

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role within this team. You will manage a mini-team responsible for the day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of key clients, acting as a trusted strategic partner to senior stakeholders. Your focus will be on ensuring clients unlock the full value of their subscriptions, driving engagement, retention and commercial growth, while delivering high-impact, insight-led solutions.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Own and lead relationships across a portfolio of key client accounts, driving renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Leverage deep expertise in BrandIndex, Profiles and broader YouGov capabilities to deliver maximum client value
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business objectives and translate them into tailored data-driven solutions.
  • Deliver compelling insight discovery and storytelling, addressing both recurring and ad hoc business questions.
  • Design and deliver proactive insight reports, including Brand Tracking, Market Sizing and Audience Profiling
  • Lead onboarding, training and client workshops to ensure high adoption an engagement
  • Partner closely with Account Management teams to ensure seamless commercial and servicing excellence
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their research, technical and consulting skill development

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • 4+ years’ experience in client-facing market research, consulting or data
  • analytics
  • At least 3 years managing direct client relationships
  • Experience managing or developing junior team members
  • Strong consulting capability: analysing data, delivering insights and designing action-oriented recommendations
  • Confident diving into complex datasets to uncover compelling narratives
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience engaging audiences from analysts to senior executives
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
