Location: This role can be based at any of our UK offices — Brighton, London, Manchester or Macclesfield on a hybrid model. Minimum 2 days in the office.

Who we’re looking for 

Our EU Creative team is expanding, and we are looking for an Associate Creative Director, Copy to join our truly multi-disciplinary team of practitioners. Together we conceive, create and deliver the highest quality communication programmes, advertising campaigns, social media content plans, and product marketing for our clients. 

We're looking for an exceptional creative with a strong background in science and/or healthcare to lead and inspire our talented team of copywriters.

As part of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary in-house team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping ideas that thrive in real lives across a diverse portfolio of health and wellbeing clients and brands. 

A versatile leader with a proven ability to balance strategic vision, team leadership, and hands-on execution. An individual who thrives in an inclusive, meritocratic creative culture that values honesty, ownership, and ambition. 

In short, a leader with the passion for ideas, healthcare and making a real impact on people’s lives. 


Position within the agency 

The Associate Creative Director, Copy will report directly to our group creative director and work alongside a team of forty-plus creatives covering the full range of creative disciplines.  Working across the entire spectrum of our clients, they’ll play a key role in unlocking the creative potential in every brief.

  • A deep appreciation for precise medical and scientific writing. 
  • Flair for captivating storytelling and innovative, conceptual thinking. 
  • The skills to both conceive ideas AND nurture the ideas of others. 
  • Leadership that inspires confidence, across all areas of the business — creative, strategy, operations, project management and client services. 
  • Robust financial and operational understanding, built on years of experience in the commercial application of creativity in an agency environment. 
  • Strong presentations skills and the ability to sell ideas, engage, and inspire. 
  • Mentorship of talented and ambitious copywriters in delivering innovative, original and truly impactful work. 
  • Fostering of a team of creatives that are eager to grow their craft in copywriting, science writing, and concepting. 
  • A keenness to learn, and an open mind. 
  • Effective organisational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Ability to proactively determine ways to innovate and develop our creative offer, in response to existing and future client needs. 
  • Friendly and receptive demeanour. 
  • A highly established knowledge of healthcare marketing and communications.
